Job Description
We have a growing, busy dental office, and have an opportunity for the right person to join our team! We are now in our new, beautiful, state of the art dental office. This is a wonderful place to work, as our patients and team all have a great day at our office! This position plays a crucial role in coordinating appointments and ensuring the efficient scheduling of our patients. This position is a full time position, working 32-36 hours per week. The duties of this position are:
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with dental specialists to optimize appointment availability
- Verify insurance information and coverage to facilitate billing processes
- Maintain and update medical records and health information management systems
- Manage patient service inquiries and provide necessary information
- Assist in dental collections as needed
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and medical office management to support daily operations The requirements for this position are:
- Dental office experience
- Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental software
- A quick learner
- Proficiency in dental scheduling procedures
- Familiarity with dental terminology and office practices
- Experience in insurance verification processes
- Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling effectively
- Knowledge of dental office information management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment
- Experience talking on the telephone with patients
Pay:
$21.00- $24.
