Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI •This position will be filled as a Scheduler I, II or Senior based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.•
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Develops detailed schedules for project specific tasks assigned within the department. Coordinates and represents department in project and scheduling meetings.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and maintains the detailed work schedule for on line project specific controls assignments as well as planned and forced outage schedules. Develops and maintains detailed testing and retest schedules and maintains resource loading profiles. Interfaces with work group representatives to level resources using selected profiles. Reviews specific scope of work orders and makes recommendations for scheduling. Develops 'what if' schedules and performs analysis with working groups to determine the most effective method of scheduling the work. Identifies support activities and adds these activities to the schedule. Updates work management and scheduling software programs. Provides reports to define work scope. Coordinates with various plant departments to develop integrated, executable, and realistic schedules. Updates progress on schedules during execution. Conducts critical path analysis for project schedules. Assists with development of post work critiques. Facilitates the interface between multiple work groups. Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts. Recommends changes to existing methods, procedures and processes to improve overall outage activities. Communicates/presents technical information, concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position: B.S. Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience. Minimum experience required of the position:
Scheduler I:
0 to 2 years of nuclear power plant experience.
Scheduler II :
2+ years of nuclear power plant experience.
Scheduler, Sr :
At least 4 years of nuclear power plant experience. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position: Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations.
Desired:
Outstanding communication and conflict management skills. Proficiency with current computer business applications.
Desired:
Pimavera 6 experience Any certificates, licenses, etc.
