Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Control Specialist to join their team in the bread manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while optimizing production processes. Responsibilities of the Process Control Specialist Accurately scale ingredients and prepare batches according to production schedules and formulas. Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate updates in the Fishbowl inventory management system. Maintain detailed production records and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisory teams to review production data and investigate discrepancies. Track yields and inventory accuracy, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure proper allergen and cross-contamination controls are followed. Adhere to FDA, OSHA, BRC, GFSI, and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements of the Process Control Specialist Strong attention to detail and comfort with data entry and computer systems. Familiarity with or ability to learn inventory software/database systems. Proficiency in English with strong communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift 25-35 lbs. Commitment to maintaining a compliant and safe work environment. Experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
