Job Description

Nursing Scheduler at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Nursing Scheduler to join our team at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 162-bed skilled nursing facility. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional care and services, we offer a competitive salary up to $25 an hour with weekly pay, and an 8a-4p schedule. About the Role As the Nursing Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that staffing levels in our nursing department are maintained in accordance with facility budget and protocol. This includes organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating all nursing staff schedules, developing and utilizing a master schedule, and posting staffing schedules 2-4 weeks in advance. You will also identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve them, and communicate with DNS and/or Administrator as needed. Responsibilities Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules Develop and utilize a master schedule at all times Post staffing schedules 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum Identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, and communicate with DNS and/or Administrator Update and prepare payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper on a daily/weekly basis Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet Seek opportunities to fill open positions in a manner which limits overtime Develop positive relationships with members of the nursing department Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent preferred Minimum one (1) year experience in clerical On-the-job training provided in scheduling Preferably a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), but not required Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, basic computer skills, and mathematical ability Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel Ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices What we offer: Competitive and Weekly Pay Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program Available for
