Job Description

Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler An established healthcare organization has an immediate opening for a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler. This position is available at multiple skilled nursing facilities, and applicants may be considered for placement at either location based on business needs. This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who is hard-working, organized, strong-willed, and confident in making decisions . We're looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, communicates well with staff and leadership, and wants to make a real difference in the day-to-day operation of the facility. Responsibilities Create and maintain nursing schedules. Manage daily staffing needs and make schedule adjustments as needed. Coordinate coverage for call-offs, vacations, leaves of absence, and open shifts. Work closely with Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and department managers to meet staffing needs. Monitor staffing patterns and overtime. Assist with new hire scheduling and orientation planning. Maintain accurate staffing records and scheduling documentation. Communicate staffing needs with Human Resources and the Recruiting team. Perform other scheduling and staffing duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous scheduling or staffing experience strongly preferred. Healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office is preferred. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
