Job Description
Front Desk Patient Coordinator (Full-Time) Join a Caring Pediatric Therapy Team! Are you a friendly, organized professional who enjoys creating positive experiences for children and their families? We are looking for a compassionate, customer-focused Front Desk Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our growing pediatric therapy practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy multitasking, and take pride in providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Welcome patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Build positive relationships with children and caregivers to create an exceptional patient experience. Check patients in and out for appointments. Answer and manage multiple incoming phone lines professionally. Schedule appointments for multiple therapy services while maximizing provider schedules. Collect and update patient information and medical histories before appointments. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient charts. Verify and process insurance payments and patient balances. Transfer assessment results and documentation to the appropriate clinicians. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front office. Monitor and replenish office supplies. Provide administrative support to help the clinical team operate efficiently. What We're Looking For Excellent customer service and communication skills. A genuine passion for working with children and families. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable learning and using electronic medical records and scheduling software. Proficient with computers, typing, Microsoft Office, and standard office equipment. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a medical office, therapy clinic, dental office, or other healthcare setting. Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling.
