The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting projects of varying complexity and estimated construction costs of less than $45 million. This position will work closely with project managers, engineers, construction personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate project schedules, monitor progress, identify potential schedule risks, and provide timely reporting to support successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Create, develop, maintain, and update project schedules for construction projects. Monitor project progress and incorporate actual progress and status updates into project schedules. Analyze schedules to identify critical path activities, schedule variances, delays, risks, and potential impacts to project milestones. Track project activities, milestones, deliverables, and completion dates. Compare current project performance against approved baseline schedules. Identify schedule conflicts, potential delays, and areas of concern and communicate findings to project leadership. Prepare routine schedule reports, updates, forecasts, and schedule-related documentation. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to collect and validate schedule information. Assist with developing recovery schedules and corrective action plans when projects fall behind schedule. Support the review and analysis of contractor and subcontractor schedules. Perform critical path and float analysis to identify activities that may affect project completion. Assist with schedule impact and time-related analyses as required. Maintain accurate schedule documentation and records in accordance with project controls procedures. Support project planning, forecasting, and decision-making through accurate schedule data and analysis. Ensure project schedules are maintained in accordance with established standards, procedures, and contractual requirements.  Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling, schedule analysis, project scheduling, project controls, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience supporting projects of similar size and complexity, preferably construction projects with estimated costs under $45 million. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in one of the following or a related field: Engineering Architecture Construction Management Business Management Must possess one or more of the following professional certifications: Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. Experience supporting construction, engineering, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or government projects. Experience reviewing contractor and subcontractor schedules. Familiarity with schedule delay analysis, recovery schedules, and schedule impact analysis. Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software. Knowledge of construction sequencing, project controls, and scheduling principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and analyze schedule information and clearly communicate findings to project stakeholders.
Work Locations:
Positions may be available at military installations throughout the National Capital Region, including Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Potential locations include NSA Washington, NSA Bethesda, NSA Annapolis, NSF Indian Head, NSF Dahlgren, NAS Patuxent River, Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, NSF Thurmont, and MCB Quantico. Specific location will vary based on project needs.
