Job Description
Full-Time, 12-Month | Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Facilities Join the Berwick Academy Community At Berwick Academy, every employee plays an important role in creating an exceptional learning environment. We're seeking a dependable, collaborative Maintenance Staff and Operations Coordinator who enjoys hands-on problem solving while keeping operations organized behind the scenes. This role combines facility maintenance with project coordination, work order management, and customer service to help ensure our campus remains safe, welcoming, and well-maintained year-round. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance across campus buildings, grounds, and school-owned housing. Coordinate and track work orders, communicate with campus partners, and help prioritize maintenance requests. Serve as a primary liaison with vendors, contractors, and residents in school-owned housing. Support campus events through room setups, furniture moves, and operational logistics. Assist with purchasing, inventory, recordkeeping, and departmental administrative tasks. Help maintain campus grounds and perform seasonal responsibilities, including snow removal and storm response. Deliver responsive, professional service to faculty, staff, students, residents, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma required; associate degree or related experience preferred. Three to five years of experience in facilities, maintenance operations, property management, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with work order systems and Google Workspace is a plus. Working knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices. Valid driver's license required. Why Berwick Academy?
