We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Associates Degree and or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures at the level needed to perform responsibilitie Understand and be proficient in basic mathematical skills (division and multiplication; subtraction and addition), such as being able to calculate payer reimbursement and determine the patient's financial responsibility (the amount due; their out-of-pocket expenses). Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans and organizes all appointment schedules. Coordinates pre-admit paperwork for all outpatient appointments including pre-surg, to expedite patient flow resulting in better customer service. Pre-registers patients, verifies patients' insurance and determines patients' financial responsibility (out-of-pocket costs). Responsibilities include educating patients about their insurance coverage and asking for payment.
