We're looking for a Culinary Operations Assistant to support our Culinary and Dining Experience Managers and help an already amazing kitchen team keep things running smoothly - and even better. You'll be part of a kitchen that takes pride in serving delicious, homemade, scratch recipes to the people we serve - and where laughter, support, and teamwork are part of the day. Schedule Shift:
11:30am-8:00pm Cooking rotation: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and every other holiday
On-call:
1 weekend per month (call-in phone rotation; may require filling in if coverage cannot be found) What You'll Do Keep inventory organized and flowing (FIFO, labeling, rotating) Jump in with food prep, cooking, or Culinary Aide duties when needed Observe dining rooms and help complete audits Receive and check deliveries (quality, temperature, accuracy) Pitch in for special events like cookouts and employee parties Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in food service, dietary services, or inventory management strongly preferred ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a kitchen and storage environment Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to step into different kitchen roles as needed Basic computer skills You'll Thrive Here If You Put residents and patients at the center of everything you do Bring a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team Like staying organized and keeping things running smoothly Are flexible, reliable, and happy to jump in where needed Believe great food + great people = great days at work If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, add to a strong team, and leave each shift feeling good about what you did - we'd love to meet you.
