The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining service, acting as a liaison between the kitchen staff and our guests. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the culinary arts and hospitality, who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent communication. Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to our guests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Help maintain high standards of food presentation and quality before serving. Communicate effectively with cooks and guests to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly. Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff during peak service times. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Operating the POS, ringing sales and accepting payments. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration between kitchen and front-of-house teams. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation processes is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
