Monitors and takes action on all manufacturing orders that are past due, or idle to prevent the order from being late.
Coordinates priority projects needing expediting with the appropriate manufacturing personnel to ensure they are completed on-time.
Provides proactive feedback to internal customers on orders being expedited, orders customers have paid an expedite fee for, orders that are past due, behind schedule, and others as requested along with an estimated time of arrival.
Expedites short materials with purchasing to minimize orders starting late due to short materials. In addition, expedites materials needed to replace missing or defective materials for in-process orders.
Expedites Corrective Action Requests (rework orders) to ensure they are being completed by requested turnaround.
Assembles weekly production meeting documentation on part statuses for internal customers.
Works to identify, root-cause and implement process improvements to improve flow of manufacturing.
Performs various other tasks as assigned.
Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word with ability to download files and manipulate data.
ERP experienceAbility to understand and follow specific instruction and procedures.
Strong communication and listening skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented, organized, motivated, responsible, and able prioritize tasks.
Able to work overtime to meet customer needs.
Strong sense of accountability and initiative.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for expediting parts and materials to ensure orders are completed on time. Provides aggressive follow-up on all internal customer requests and status updates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
