ophthalmology, gynecology, general surgery, gastroenterology, and podiatry. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards and are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). North Metro Surgery Center offers M-F hours, no weekends or holidays , and a small team atmosphere. We are currently searching for a 0.6-0.8 FTE Insurance Verification/Scheduling Specialist who can work 3-4 days/week (typically Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday). This role requires cross-training to the Front Desk Receptionist role. Must work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. This position is responsible for scheduling patients, and the daily functions of the insurance verification process, which includes verifying benefits, checking patient eligibility to determine coverage, and notifying patients of their financial obligations.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in health insurance verification Strong ethical and moral character references, ability to multitask, and excellent telephone and computer skills, including Microsoft Word/Excel Must possess a high school diploma or GED We are an equal opportunity employer.
