We hold Irrigation Association credentials (Contractor, Auditor, Technician) and backflow prevention licensing, and we're known for reliable, high-quality service across the communities we serve.JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Irrigation Scheduler/Manager to lead the scheduling of commercial, industrial, and HOA irrigation systems. The ideal candidate has irrigation service or irrigation scheduling experience. As a key team member, you will coordinate with clients, manage irrigation system repairs, and implement innovative solutions using automated control systems to enhance landscape vitality. DUTIES- Develop comprehensive irrigation schedules tailored to client needs, landscape requirements, and seasonal variations
- Oversee new irrigation system installation projects, including site assessments, system design, and coordination of excavation and electrical diagnostics
- Manage ongoing irrigation maintenance and repair projects, troubleshooting system issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Conduct system troubleshooting and diagnostics on irrigation equipment to identify faults and perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like excavators
- Coordinate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation with overall landscape maintenance plans, including lawn care and soil science considerations
- Ensure proper operation of automated irrigation control systems, adjusting settings for optimal water efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures, and addressing client concerns effectively
- Support sales efforts and customer growth by identifying add-on service opportunities and building strong client relationships
- Help with residential irrigation scheduling as needed
- Potential involvement in snow removal/snow management operations, depending on experience
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in irrigation management, including installation projects and ongoing system maintenance (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge of irrigation equipment, electrical diagnostics, and system troubleshooting techniques (preferred)
- Familiarity with landscaping practices, horticulture principles, and soil science fundamentals (preferred)
- Knowledge of automated irrigation control systems and modern irrigation management software (a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally (required)
