Midwest Facial Plastics Surgery is seeking a Surgery Scheduler Consultant who brings a strong blend of hospitality, organization, and communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of healthcare and aesthetics—whether your background is in clinical scheduling or high-end guest services within the beauty, cosmetic, or wellness industries. You'll play a key role in guiding patients through their surgical journey—from initial scheduling to post-operative coordination—while delivering a seamless, concierge-level experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of professionalism Deliver an exceptional, patient-centered experience at every touchpoint Ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is accurate and complete at the time of scheduling Obtain and verify prior authorizations as needed Document all scheduled procedures in the practice management system Schedule post-operative appointments and provide basic pre- and post-procedure guidance Educate patients on procedure logistics, expectations, and next steps Collect payments for cosmetic procedures at the time of booking Serve as a primary point of contact for hospitals, surgery centers, physicians, and patients regarding scheduling coordination Stay current on insurance requirements, policies, and best practices Support additional administrative or operational duties as needed
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or a related field—or 4+ years of relevant healthcare scheduling experience Strong proficiency with technology, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, EHR systems, and multi-line phone systems Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced, high-interruption environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in aesthetics, cosmetic surgery, or a luxury service environment Demonstrated success in consultative or high-value sales Exceptional interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence Midwest Culture As a physician-owned practice serving our communities for over 110 years, we are committed to respecting every person, acting with integrity, and owning our outlook.
