Custody Operations Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Custody Operations Specialist for a first shift position from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves performing various functions within the vault, such as pulling, filing, and conducting quality control on loan files. The specialist will ensure files are accurately filed, conduct research to locate missing files, and verify documentation integrity. This position requires physical activity, as you will be on your feet 80% of the time and may need to climb step stools occasionally. Responsibilities Perform file pulling and filing functions within the vault. Conduct quality control checks to ensure loan files are correctly filed. Verify loan files and research missing files using computer systems. Investigate misplaced files by analyzing data and file history. Collaborate with team members to maintain organization within the vault. Essential Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications. Physical capability to lift 30 lbs and remain on feet throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a production-based environment. Ability to multitask effectively. Familiarity with document custody and filing processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is within a large, quiet vault filled with organized files. You will be on your feet most of the day, ensuring comfortable attire is necessary, including tennis shoes. The dress code is business casual, and the workspace is akin to an office warehouse with files arranged systematically by customer and loan number. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
