Production Planner/ Scheduler (up to $27.50/hr) at Ultimate Staffing Services Production Planner/ Scheduler (up to $27.50/hr) at Ultimate Staffing Services in Minnetonka, Minnesota Posted in about 7 hours ago. $25.00 - $26.00 per hour We are seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to play a critical role in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations for a growing company in the power electronics industry. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing material availability, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting purchasing activities to ensure customer orders are delivered on time. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing production planning, inventory management, and procurement responsibilities. Experience working within an ERP system, preferably Sage X3 , is highly desired.

Minnetonka, MN (100% On-Site)

Pay:

up to $27.50/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (option to leave early Fridays at 4:00 PM)

Job Type:

Full-Time, Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability. Expedite materials, work orders, and production activities to ensure schedules are met and customer orders ship on time; proactively resolve shortages, delays, and bottlenecks. Coordinate closely with Assembly, Purchasing, Warehouse, and suppliers to align materials, resources, and production priorities. Release, track, and close manufacturing work orders within Sage X3 while maintaining accurate planning data, BOMs, lead times, and inventory records. Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, support purchasing activities, and identify opportunities to improve production flow and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, materials planning, expediting, inventory control, or manufacturing coordination . Experience utilizing an ERP/MRP system for production scheduling, inventory management, and procurement activities; Sage X3 experience preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory management principles, and material planning concepts. Ability to analyze data, prioritize competing demands, and solve operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other business systems. Why Join Us?
