Overview Dental Scheduling Coordinator

• Oral Surgery Oral & Facial Surgery Center Oral & Facial Surgery Center is a two-doctor oral surgery practice with locations in both Joplin MO & Pittsburg KS.

We are fast-paced, supportive, challenging and our goal is to provide the highest quality care and the most advanced surgical techniques in oral and maxillofacial surgery. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental scheduling, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with patients and team members.

Schedule:

Full Time, 4 Days/Week (varies) M-Th 7:30 am

• 5:15 pm F 7:30 am
• 3:30 pm Must be able and willing to work between both of our locations (Joplin, MO and Pittsburg, KS) Responsibilities Oversee patient schedule to ensure proper scheduling guidelines are met and the schedule is filled daily Confirming patient appointments and filling in cancellations as needed (with the assistance of other front office teammates) Verifying that all necessary pre-appointment information is obtained from the patient and/or the referring doctor's office in a timely manner (with the assistance of the other front office teammates) Set up the patient schedule up to 3-4 months in advance based on the doctor's work schedule Re-schedule appointments, as needed Produce and present treatment plans and financial obligations to patients in the absence of the Treatment Coordinator Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of Dental Front Office experience Must be willing and able to work between both of our locations (Joplin, MO and Pittsburg, KS) Starting pay range is $22•26 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
