Job Description
This position is often called the true "Heartbeat" of a home care agency. An ideal candidate will be positive, highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and think on their feet in a fast-paced and rewarding position. Candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to work through challenges as a team. Accountability for the position and awareness to know when to take a break or practice self-care are important when working as a scheduling coordinator. Schedule Monday-Friday 8 am to 4 pm for training Upon training, schedule will be a rotation of 3 shifts 7:30 am-2:30 pm, 4 shifts 7:00 am-5:00 pm, and 3 shifts 10 am-5:00 pm On-call rotation Primary duties include: Coordinating schedules for in-home caregivers - focusing on caregivers' attributes Communicating frequently with caregivers, clients and families regarding care schedules Ensuring scheduled shifts are correct and complete Prioritize effective communication and team collaboration Continuously monitor and evaluate individual and scheduling departments' effectiveness Participate in after-hours phone rotation to support clients and employees Requirements Ability to effectively work in scheduling software and computer programs Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues and find resolutions Ability to multitask and be goal-oriented Highly organized, detail-oriented, and team-minded Thrive under pressure Compassionate and understanding Previous scheduling experience preferred College degree preferred Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Holiday pay Clothing Allowance Training & Development Incredible Culture Competitive pay!
