Job Description

Bank of New England, a $1B+ bank specializing in commercial real estate lending, is presently seeking a qualified member to be a part of our unique team. At present, we are seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to join our Team located within our corporate office in Salem, NH. As a Deposit Operations Specialist you will be responsible for providing a wide range of duties including, but not limited to: Record transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Process incoming and outgoing wire transactions. Assist with ACH transaction monitoring and understanding ACH file detail/procedures Assist with ATM/Debit Card ordering/maintenance. Prepare journal entries and assign entries to proper accounts. Perform multiple deposit operation functions. Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Execute monthly operations close procedures and reconciliations. Cross-train in all areas of Deposit Operations. Keep necessary records of certain transactions Attain and demonstrate knowledge of deposit operations functions. Assist with various audits. Understand and operate bank computer systems including Microsoft Office (e.g. excel)
Qualifications:
High School diploma or higher Equivalent work experience may be considered as alternative to formal degree program completion; Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
