Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging to a dynamic medical setting, supporting accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. We're seeking an experienced imaging professional with strong CT technical skills to contribute to a dedicated healthcare team. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working alongside respected clinicians.
Key Qualifications:
Certification or registry in CT imaging (ARRT or equivalent required) Current licensure to practice as an Imaging Technologist Proven experience operating CT equipment and performing a variety of exams Up-to-date knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinicians Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and commitment to patient confidentiality BLS certification preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding Operate CT scanners while adhering to established safety and imaging protocols Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical factors for each scan Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment Process and evaluate images, collaborating with radiologists for interpretation Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures efficiently Manage imaging workflow to ensure timely completion of studies Maintain strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety guidelines Gain valuable experience while providing top-tier imaging care in a supportive environment.
