Job Description
About us We are a custom manufacturer of precision sheet metal components for OEMs and contract manufacturers in the electronic, semi-conductor, life science and defense industries. We are a small team that counts on everyone having high standards to take our company to the next level. Position Summary The Order Management & Operations Specialist owns assigned customer orders from purchase order through delivery and serves as the primary link between our customers, manufacturing operations, and outside suppliers. This hands-on role manages the daily execution of customer orders, proactively communicates with customers, coordinates production and outside processing, and works across the organization to identify and resolve issues and maintain on-time delivery.

In person only, no remote work Our facility is ITAR registered, employees must be US persons Local candidates only Key Responsibilities Develop strong understanding of assigned customer accounts including parts, requirements, ordering patterns and priorities Accurately enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system Create manufacturing work orders, schedule outside services, and create job packets Manage all outside processing activities including supplier scheduling, purchase orders, logistics, status tracking and issue resolution Monitor and track orders from receipt to shipment against schedule, proactively addressing delays or issues. Generate open order reports and expedite lists. Participate in daily meetings to drive on time delivery and customer service. Interface with customers daily to provide order status, delivery updates, and manage escalations, change requests, and RMAs Onboard new customers and maintain customer information in the ERP system. Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Quality, Estimating, Shipping, and Suppliers to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain on time delivery Build strong relationships with customers by demonstrating responsiveness, accountability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience Monitor performance to customers, generate performance reports, and participate in customer meetings Support continuous improvement Support purchasing and inventory management Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, order management, customer service, or purchasing Strong computer skills, including ERP Systems, Excel, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused mindset Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or willingness to learn Experience with aerospace or defense manufacturing preferred (AS9100, ITAR) Team player, continuous improvement mindsetSchedule:
