A Scheduler or Operations Coordinator provides scheduling and logistical support for an office, company or organization. May specialize in scheduling required for production or for administrative work.
A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum required. Skill(s): Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate typing and computer skills; proficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; visual and auditory skills.
Experience:
Banking systems experience, and an understanding of banking processes required. General Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the deposit operations manager and deposit operations function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. Does not have authority to make decisions with respect to hiring, firing, demotions or significant reassignments. Essential Duties 1. May perform a variety of duties to support the Deposit Operations Manager and the deposit and data operations function of which the following are illustrative: a. Obtain a deep understanding of the general and deposits specifications on the Fiserv Premier core to assist the Deposit Operations Manager with several areas of core system management, including: New deposit product development and integration Deposit Rates & Fees Tax reporting, corrections Core software releases, enhancements b. Assist with administration of Business Process Manager, including development & implementation of new workflows, and custom forms management. c. Assist with current and new feature development of ancillary Retail Online Banking products such as Zelle, Bill Payment, External Transfers, Positive Pay. d. Assist with operational management of Kasasa reward checking program, including development of new features/products and staff training. e. Assist with staff training on Premier core - assign online courses, establish/maintain user access. f. Assist with developing and conducting annual Risk Assessments for several functions (Teller, Digital Banking, ACH, wire, RDC, etc.). g. Assist with creation of custom reports in Business Analytics; establish autorun processes. h. Make deposit account and posting block reversals and corrections on Premier core. i. Process Fedline wire transfer requests. j. Assist with gathering information for external audit requests, implementation of corrective measures. k. Assist Debit Card function with fraud/dispute processing on as-needed basis. l. Serve as backup to multiple roles within the deposit operations function. 2. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. 4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. 5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule, compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. 6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy. Ancillary Duties 1.
