Job Description

Business Operations Specialist Argyle, NY Adirondack Studios (ADKS) is seeking a Business Operations Specialist. Our company designs, builds, and installs the scenic and themed environments you experience in venues that range from theme parks to casinos, museums, live shows, retail, and public art. We have been in business since 1975, and our work is seen around the world. This is rewarding work with a company that is a substantial force in the Themed Entertainment industry. The Business Operations Specialist supports the Company's business operations functions, including contract and compliance administration, human resources support, grant and incentive programs, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives. Working across departments and Company locations, this position helps improve operational systems, organize and share institutional knowledge, and support the effective administration of Company policies, systems, and business requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and track client, vendor, and other agreements in a timely manner. Maintain recurring corporate registrations, renewals, and other compliance-related records. Support corporate insurance and bonding programs. Assist with initiatives that improve Company operations across domestic locations, including the development and implementation of improved procedures. Support the development, organization, and regular updating of Company standard operating procedures. Improve the organization and accessibility of Company information, shared resources, and institutional knowledge. Provide administrative and coordination support for Human Resources activities. Support grant, incentive, workforce-development, training, economic-development, and other funding opportunities as assigned. Prepare and maintain reports as required to accurately communicate Business Operations functions and initiatives. Perform other related duties and special projects consistent with the evolving needs of the Business Operations department and Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Three or more years of experience in business operations, project coordination, compliance administration, contract administration, human resources operations, systems administration, or a related role. Demonstrated experience building or improving processes, organizing complex information, and creating clear procedures or documentation. Strong written communication, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, and the ability to learn new business systems and technology quickly. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items with a high degree of accuracy and independence. Energetic, curious, practical, and comfortable working in a collaborative, project-based environment.
