Hours:
Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm (5 days onsite) Responsibilities Analyzes inventory levels, planned production and sales forecasts. Plans and controls inventory of finished goods for warehouses/distribution centers and manufacturing plants to meet sales and distribution demands. Coordinates purchase orders and sales orders for drop shipments, replenishment, and lot management. Reviews stocking orders with strategic partners for product availability and scheduled ship dates. Allocates shelf-life products for shipment to ensure that they satisfy the contract minimum dating requirement. Plans and coordinates inventory replenishment with strategic partners under general supervision. Provides manufacturing plant forecast requirements, purchase orders, and inter-plant orders. Analyzes inventory levels and positioning to ensure compliance. Responsible for meeting annual goals for inventory levels of finished good product. Prepares and distributes weekly/monthly status reports related to backorders, reagent planning, and similar subjects. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Management or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or preparatory role. Working knowledge of inventory management practices, procedures, material planning, and distribution systems. Proficiency with computers, including spreadsheets, word processing programs, and databases. Previous experience with computerized inventory and distribution management systems (preferably SAP).
