Job Description

Product Development/Production Coordinator Women's Clothing:
Responsibilities
MUST HAVE
at least 2 years' experience in Product Development for
WOMEN'S CLOTHING.
Must be a team player. Create and maintain all clothing style numbers in A2000 system (will train). Create and maintain all production purchase orders in A2000 system, maintain WIP reports, Delivery Schedules with absolute accuracy. Track and manage all Samples / PPs / TOP's and production orders. Daily vendor communication -- follow up on production status & sampling with factories/mills. Own all cross functional communication within Gretchen Scott organization regarding production status and delivery. Resolve issues immediately and adhere to Time and Action calendar and protect integrity of design. Negotiate with vendors to achieve price targets without compromising quality. Escalate any challenges which will affect production delivery with team. Support production team members in daily follow up of samples and cost analysis as needed. Manage sample flow, quality control, labeling and packaging. Monitor workmanship, finishings and maintaining highest standards across materials and fit. Help maintain Excel Production Spreadsheets. Input Fit Photos and comments.
POSITION IS IN HOUSE ONLY
Requirements:
1-3 years of production/product development and planning experience in women's clothing. Basic understanding of factory operations, garment construction, costing and logistics. Strong Excel skills. Deep understanding of garment construction and ability to make detailed fit comments during fittings. Impeccable attention to detail. Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel / Word / Outlook / Teams). Superior interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving mentality. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task meet deadlines. High energy, be proactive and taking accountability and pride in your work. Position strictly in house. 5/26/26
