Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective scheduling of appointments for our orthodontic office. Duties will include, but are not limited to, scheduling new and existing patients, verifying insurance, and general administrative tasks. Our office and team are energetic and upbeat, and we are seeking someone to complement our culture. Responsibilities:
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Coordinate with clinical team
  • Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the scheduling system
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction
  • Handle any scheduling conflicts or changes in a timely manner
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Proficiency in using scheduling systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This position will consist of 5 days per week, approximately 34-38 hours per week.
Prior customer service experience preferred. Dental experience is not required. No weekends or late hours! Benefits include holiday and vacation pay, 401K, and orthodontic treatment for yourself and dependents. Please provide your resume.
