Job Description

Creative Composites Group is adding a Production Scheduler to its top-notch team at United Fiberglass in Springfield, Ohio! Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that production goals are met both efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This role involves analyzing production capacities, planning production, providing lead times to the sales organization, and managing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. 2. Collaborate with production manager, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production. 3. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands and priorities. 4. Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. 5. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding production status, delays, and changes to the schedule. 6. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process. 7. Providing lead time estimates to sales organization to support quoting. 8. Assist with or perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in supply chain management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. 2. Previous experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment. 3. Detail oriented and committed to accuracy. 4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 5. High level Excel capabilities 6. Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Excellent communication and people skills. 8. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus. The Creative Composites Group is a group of Equal Opportunity Employers.
