Cataract Surgery Scheduler

Schedule surgeries and related duties. Handling paperwork, managing surgery logistics, checking patient clearances, detecting complication risks and ordering tests. This position requires an individual who is a self-starter with excellent organizational, office, customer service and telephone skills. Background in healthcare/senior services and/or service industry is preferred. Must have good recall, be articulate, detail oriented and have good penmanship. This position requires a warm, congenial, and professional attitude. Also required is the ability to be flexible, handle frequent interruptions, change previously established schedules on short notice, manage multiple priorities and accomplish tasks against deadlines. Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision and possess a high degree of initiative along with the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
