Job Description:
Operations & Team Culture Coordinator Pure Gorge Cleaning ?Hood River, OR | Full-Time | In-Office $26.00/hour + performance-based pay increase potential About Pure Gorge Cleaning Pure Gorge Cleaning is an award-winning residential cleaning company based in Hood River, Oregon. We've been serving the Columbia River Gorge area since 2015 and we're proud of the team and culture we've built. We work hard, we care about doing things right, and we're looking for people who feel the same way. Learn more about us at puregorgecleaning.com or find us on Google. About the Role This is a role where no two days look the same - and if that excites you, keep reading. As our Operations & Team Culture Coordinator you'll be the connective tissue of our operation. On the operations side, you'll keep the office running smoothly, managing supplies, equipment, and gear so that everything is stocked, organized, and ready before the day begins. On the people side, you'll work closely with our cleaning technicians, being their go-to for support, check-ins, and accountability, and collaborate with scheduling and sales staff to keep the whole business connected. You'll take ownership of our people operations, including hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and when necessary, the harder conversations that come with managing a team. You'll also handle HR responsibilities, keeping personnel records, processes, and compliance in order. This role requires someone willing to learn every corner of the business, not just your own lane. You'll cross-train across other office functions so you can step in confidently when team members are out. You'll show up for team meetings, represent Pure Gorge at community events, and jump into projects and promotions when needed. This role suits someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do next. When the task list runs low you're already looking for what can be improved, optimized, or gotten ahead of. You're self-motivated, growth-minded, and genuinely invested in helping the business get better, not just keeping up with it. You'll spend much of your day working independently and you thrive in that environment rather than just tolerating it. But you'll also be the person who brings energy and warmth when everyone's together, upbeat, friendly, and people-centered, someone the technicians trust and enjoy checking in with. Schedule Monday through Friday, starting between 7:30 and 7:45am. With an hour lunch break you'll finish between 4:30 and 4:45pm. This is a full-time 40-hour per week position. The schedule matters, we need someone dependable and consistent who takes that seriously. What We're Looking For Mature, experienced, and genuinely confident Has coordinated, supported, led, hired, and managed other people in a previous role Proven team leadership experience with demonstrated results Comfortable having difficult conversations professionally and with empathy Experience with HR responsibilities a strong plus Willing to learn other roles and cross-train across the business Self-motivated and proactive, always looking for ways to improve and grow Comfortable working independently for long stretches without direct supervision Upbeat, friendly, and naturally people-centered Happy to assist with in-office admin, supply management, promotions, and community events Communicates clearly and doesn't need to be micromanaged Extremely comfortable with computers, apps, and technology Has used AI tools in daily work or workflow Respects the people who do the physical work that makes this business run Able to commute to Hood River, OR daily Reliable personal transportation required What We Offer $26/hour to start for the right person, someone ready to contribute from day one Performance-based pay increase potential tied to proven results, goal achievement, and growth in responsibility, reviewed at 3 months and 6 months A fast-moving, people-centered environment where your work genuinely matters A team that's invested in doing things well How to Apply We read every application personally and will be in touch within a few business days if we'd like to move forward. ????
