The Expeditor plays a key role in ensuring that food is prepared, plated, checked, and delivered to members and guests accurately, efficiently, and at the highest standard. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Essential Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room, banquet areas, and other service locations. Review completed dishes to ensure they meet presentation, portion, temperature, and quality standards before leaving the kitchen. Ensure orders are complete and accurate before they are delivered to members and guests. Communicate clearly with cooks, chefs, servers, bartenders, and management regarding orders and timing. Monitor tickets and prioritize orders based on timing and service needs. Coordinate multiple dishes so that items for the same table or party are ready together. Identify missing, incorrect, or improperly prepared items and communicate corrections to the appropriate kitchen staff. Maintain an organized and clean expo/service area. Qualifications Previous restaurant, kitchen, food service, or expediting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize multiple orders and changing service needs. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.
