Location :
Bedford and Somerset, PA (work days rotate between these job sites)Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pmSummary of Job Duties:
Under the direction and supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Transportation Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of passenger van transportation services as requested by the Interdisciplinary Team. The Scheduler must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, and plan transportation scheduling services for frail, older adults according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards.Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience:
Experience in transportation scheduling and/or logistics, and basic level in Excel. Prior experience in the geriatric field is helpful.Required Certifications/Licensure:
Valid PA Driver's license.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the area roads in the program's service area. Basic skill levels in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and iPhone usage. Ability to handle information confidentially. Ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with participants and other staff. Good interpersonal skills Mental alertness Ability to effectively plan and organize assignments efficiently. Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to function in stressful situations. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. Ability to accept and utilize supervision to maintain high standards of quality. Ability to give direction as necessary. Ability to work as a team member.About us:
