Master Scheduler B&G Manufacturing Company Inc United States, Pennsylvania, Hatfield 3067 Unionville Pike (Show on map) Aug 11, 2026 B&G Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Master Scheduler to join our Production Control team in Hatfield, PA. The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operation running efficiently and ensuring we meet our customer delivery commitments. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule, coordinating production priorities, monitoring capacity, and communicating schedule requirements across the organization. What You'll Do Develop and maintain the master production schedule for products manufactured at our Hatfield facility.
Maintain the shipping plan and establish production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
Monitor production progress and proactively identify potential delays, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
Coordinate production priorities with Production Supervisors, Job Coordinators, Customer Service, Materials, Contract Administration, and other departments.
Develop and maintain weekly overtime schedules based on production requirements and shipping goals.
Monitor machine, labor, and production capacity and adjust schedules as needed.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of capacity planning and scheduling data.
Communicate schedule changes and production priorities throughout the organization.
Work with Materials and Purchasing to identify material issues that could impact production.
Analyze production requirements and make scheduling decisions based on customer needs, capacity, material availability, and operational constraints.
Provide training and support to users of scheduling and capacity-planning systems.
Identify opportunities to improve production flow, capacity utilization, on-time delivery, and overall scheduling processes.
What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, production control, or a similar manufacturing role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production scheduling.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and follow-through.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively with both office personnel and production employees.
Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Master Scheduler or Production Planner.
Experience with SAP or another ERP/MRP system.
Experience in CNC machining or a similar discrete-part manufacturing environment.
Experience with capacity planning and finite scheduling.
Experience coordinating production across multiple departments, machines, and shifts.
