Job Description
Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings is seeking a Scheduler to work in its Mount Pleasant, PA facility.
The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, and experience working as a Scheduler.

Job SummaryAssigns completion dates and manufacturing sequences to incoming orders, generates production orders and job jackets. Provides delivery dates and communicates status of orders to internal/external customers. Maintains the scheduling board and assigns machine priority by shift. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (
- Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Assigns completion dates and manufacturing sequences to incoming orders.
- Develops routings and product assembly for each order to ensure maximum productivity
- Commits delivery dates to internal/external customers.
- Researches future envelope runs.
- Maintains adequate stock levels
- Publishes backlog and late order reports.
- Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed).
- All other duties as assigned
Other (Non-Essential) Functions Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA. - Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed), is not involved in horseplay, is cautious when near equipment and machines, always makes sure safety guards and contactors are in place and operational. Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Preferred:
One to two years envelope manufacturing experience.
Special Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to learn JD Edwards and OneMax
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong planning and execution skills required. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit, frequently is required to reach, and occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
