Type:
contract Stevens Engineers & Constructors has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Construction Scheduler to join our Pittsburgh Operations Team, based out of our Canonsburg, Pennsylvania office. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project logistics schedules using Primavera P6 for projects to ensure efficient resource allocation, timely completion, and successful project outcomes. The Construction Scheduler will also collaborate closely with the operations scheduling team, project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to help drive project scheduling excellence. The ideal candidate will be client focused and will work well independently and as part of the project team.

Onsite Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of construction scheduling experience.
Software Knowledge:
Expert level - Primavera P6. Preferred Certifications (Pluses): AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP); PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP); OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with the operations team creating and managing comprehensive project schedules taking into consideration project scope, timelines and resource availability. Identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks to proactively address project risks and delays. Identifying schedule-related risks and work with the project teams to help develop mitigation strategies. Analyze project documents to identify potential project impacts. Establishing project baselines and tracking progress against established schedules, reporting deviations and recommending corrective actions. Evaluating and refining project schedules to improve efficiency and minimize resource conflicts, ensuring timely project completion. Analyzing historical project data to identify trends and areas for improvement in scheduling processes and performance. Support cost reporting. Prepare and present schedule narratives. Skill Requirements Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently organize work assignments and meet critical deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. A basic understanding of construction and the different trades. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and experience with Primavera P6 is required.
