Full Job Description Description:
Do you want a career where your work makes a positive impact on children and your community? CASA Kane County is looking for an Advancement Operations Coordinator who is passionate about children, nonprofit work, and using data and organization to make a difference. CASA Kane County is a Guardian ad Litem nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of children involved in abuse and neglect cases within the Juvenile Court system. We believe every child deserves a safe and permanent home. While this role is more analytical, database, and reporting focused, the work behind the scenes is incredibly important. Accurate donor information, thoughtful research, strong reporting, and effective fundraising operations help CASA build the resources and relationships needed to positively impact the lives of children and strengthen our community. If you are someone who enjoys working with numbers, data, systems, and details but also wants to know that your work has a real purpose and impact - this could be the role for you! What You'll Do Manage and maintain CASA's DonorPerfect CRM, ensuring donor and gift information is accurate, organized, and up to date. Process gifts, acknowledgments, tax receipts, pledge reminders, and stewardship communications. Generate donor lists, reports, exports, segmentation, dashboards, and analytics to support fundraising and decision-making. Conduct donor and prospect research, including wealth screening and identifying potential fundraising opportunities. Prepare donor profiles, research summaries, briefings, and reports for leadership, board members, and campaign volunteers. Monitor donor retention, acquisition, engagement, lapsed donors, event participation, and other fundraising trends. Help turn data into useful information that helps CASA build stronger donor relationships and raise more support for children. Support annual giving, Giving Tuesday, monthly giving, matching gifts, peer-to-peer fundraising, grants, major gifts, and campaign initiatives. Assist with donor communications, appeals, meeting preparation, minutes, and other advancement administration. Support CASA fundraising and community events before, during, and after events. Help coordinate donated and event-related materials and interact with donors and supporters as needed. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, efficiency, and overall advancement operations. Work collaboratively with the Development Team to support CASA's fundraising goals and mission. The Person We're Looking For This role is a great fit for someone who loves the details but never loses sight of the bigger picture. You are:
Analytical and comfortable working with data, reports, and databases. Extremely organized and detail oriented. A strong multitasker who can manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. A problem-solver who enjoys finding ways to make systems and processes better. Comfortable working with confidential donor information. A strong communicator who can professionally interact with donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners. Someone who can move between data and people — spending time in the database one minute and helping at a fundraising event the next. Driven to contribute to a team and willing to jump in wherever needed. Someone who believes that behind every number, donation, and fundraising report is an opportunity to help a child. Events & Schedule Although this is an operations and reporting-focused position, you will be part of the CASA team and will be supporting our fundraising events. There will be occasional weekend and evening work required.Requirements:
