Freshwater Landscaping is going after commercial snow contracts this fall and we need someone on the phone.

The job:

you get a list of small commercial properties around Lake Minnetonka (dental offices, daycares, churches, small office buildings, townhome associations). You call them and ask two questions: who plows this property, and are they locked in for the winter. If they're not locked in, you book a 15 minute walkthrough on the owner's calendar. That's it. You are not selling and you are not quoting. You are booking appointments.

Hours:

4 hours a day, weekday mornings, roughly 8 to 12. Now through mid-November.

Pay:

$20/hour, plus $100 for every site walk you book that actually happens, plus $300 for every contract that gets signed off a meeting you set. A good week is 200 calls, 8 booked walks, and a check that beats the hourly by a lot. You'd be good at this if: you can make 40 calls a day without getting rattled, you keep notes, you show up when you say you will. Cold calling experience helps. Landscaping experience does not matter at all, we'll teach you what you need in an hour. You would not be good at this if you hate the phone. That's the whole job. Local to the west metro preferred. Can work from our Eden Prairie Office or from home, your call.
