Operations Coordinator, Senior Northern Arizona University Special Information This position is a hybrid position which allows the incumbent to complete their work at both an NAU site, campus, or facility and at a non-centralized site with or without accommodation. Driving a vehicle on behalf of the university is anticipated to be a regular part of this position. Arizona Administrative Code Fleet Safety Policy requires all employees who drive on university business become authorized by submitting Driver's license information for driving record monitoring, and completion of training appropriate to the level of driving performed. The law applies to all faculty, staff, and students who drive personal or university-owned motorized vehicles for any business purpose. About the Department/College NAU's Academic and Workforce Alliances Office plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical workforce skills. About the Position NAU Desert Campuses is recruiting an Operations Coordinator, Senior. This position plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day academic and operational functions of NAU Desert Campuses, a dynamic statewide network serving students and academic programs across Southern Arizona (Tucson and Yuma) and the Central Arizona region (Maricopa and Pinal Counties). The incumbent is responsible for coordinating operational logistics and administrative activities that ensure academic programs and campus operations run efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include managing classroom and facility scheduling, supporting academic units, faculty, staff, students, community partners, and other stakeholders, and facilitating the successful use of NAU facilities, with a particular focus on NAU-North Valley. The position serves as a central point of coordination to ensure a positive and seamless instructional and campus experience across multiple locations. Responsibilities Include 70% - Academic Operations Coordinate classroom use at the various Desert Campuses location, including at the NAU-North Valley, NAU-Yuma, community college campuses, as well as other assigned statewide locations, including: Liaise and interface with other offices, such as NAU CAPCOT/Space Management, NAU ITS, and academic units as needed to facilitate day-to-day campus operations. Maintain, track, and facilitate creation and renewal of facility use agreements with outside agencies/organizations. Assign and monitor all classroom logistics to ensure facilities are maximized and costs are effectively managed. Ensure confidentiality of appropriate information under FERPA guidelines. Maintain and update schedule of courses and course rotation spreadsheets, gather required information and clarify missing or unclear information with academic program chairs/directors. Create and/or generate reports and data integrity queries. Manage and maintain room reservation requests to various Desert Campuses and partner facilities, confirm reservation requests, and update partner facility owner of any changes to course schedules or class cancellations. Manage and maintain the processes for NAU faculty and students to obtain access to various partner facility resources such as classroom computer, WIFI, or other computer networks. Serve as the NAU point of contact to coordinate with various facility partners to obtain non-NAU system username/password, key cards/classroom keys, etc. for NAU faculty and students. Support NAU faculty teaching at various Desert Campuses in troubleshooting campus specific classroom/computer login issues, facility access, etc. Serve on committees and other special projects. 20% - Campus Support Serve as the NAU-North Valley Building Manager, including: Unlock main lobby, classrooms, and office doors as needed. Help arrange classroom set-up (tables and chairs), as needed. Conduct regular walk-through of building to identify any needed maintenance, service or repairs, and potential safety concerns. Serve as the point of contact with NAU Police Department for: building security issues, submitting weekly crime logs and reporting as required, and in cases of public use of space, ensures contract includes responsible person for building security. Serves as point of contact with Phoenix Police Department for building security issues. Serves as the designated Campus Security Authority and is responsible for reporting Clery-qualifying incidents. Serves as the point of contact for weekly crime log that mu 5% - Supervision and Training Supervise student workers at NAU-North Valley for front office support including greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate locations and ensuring cleanliness of shared faculty and student spaces. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Relevant field 3 years of building coordination/administration experience

•A combination of related education, experience, and training may be used as an equivalent to the above Minimum Qualifications. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience. In addition, the Fire Safety Report is combined with the Annual Security Report for the NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus as this campus has on-campus student housing. This report discloses fire safety policies and procedures related to on-campus student housing and statistics for fires that occurred in those facilities.
