About the Role The Sam Bernstein Law Firm is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the firm. This position serves as a central resource across multiple departments by coordinating operational projects, managing office administration, supporting technology logistics, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting leadership with business initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, staying organized, and working on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of operational tasks while helping ensure the firm runs efficiently and effectively. Work Schedule & Location Full-Time Monday - Friday In-Person (Farmington Hills) Regular attendance in the office is an essential function of this position. Hybrid and remote work arrangements are not available . What You'll Do Business Operations Support operational projects across multiple departments. Assist with improving internal processes, workflows, and business initiatives. Track project deadlines and follow up on action items. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents. Organize meetings, take meeting notes, and distribute follow-up items. Maintain internal documentation, policies, and operational procedures. Office & Facilities Support Coordinate day-to-day office operations and administrative functions. Manage office, kitchen, and technology supplies. Coordinate vendor relationships, service providers, and facility requests. Maintain vendor files, contracts, and related documentation. Coordinate office equipment maintenance and ensure common areas remain organized and well stocked. Help maintain a clean, professional, and efficient office environment. Technology & Employee Support Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation and office setup. Serve as the liaison between employees and the firm's IT provider for routine technology needs. Maintain inventory of technology equipment and office assets. Support office technology, equipment, and operational systems. Administrative & Operational Support Provide administrative support to leadership and various departments. Coordinate company meetings, employee events, and engagement initiatives. Maintain confidential records and documentation. Assist with employee onboarding activities and training coordination. Provide operational and administrative coverage for other departments as business needs require. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. Two or more years of experience in business operations, office administration, project coordination, or a similar role preferred. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. Technical Skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with project management software preferred. Experience working with business management systems preferred. Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology. Experience maintaining spreadsheets, tracking projects, and organizing documentation. What Makes You Successful Highly organized and dependable.
