Job Description
Operations Specialist II {"description": " Aon Is Looking for An Operations Specialist II- (Life & Health) !! The Operations Specialist II with Aon Business Services - Affinity Integrated Services and will support our Specialty Professions Program Fort Washington, PA. This position is for a hybrid schedule, in office and remote throughout the week. Job Responsibilities:
- Responding to client inquiries: Responsible for responding to client inquiries for new, renewal, and endorsement processes.
- Financial Transactions Responsible for updating financial transactions (automated and manual) to debit/credit policy accounts depending on the nature of the request, including researching and clearing accounts in suspense . Some transactions may require problem-solving skills to determine the correct premium or processing steps required based on the customer's request.
- System Support Once sufficiently trained, assist with user support, training of colleagues, system testing, and the implementation of process or system changes.
- Reporting Assist with reporting tasks as required, including data extraction, tracking, and consolidation into viewable reports.
- Quality Control Conducts regular quality control audits on both external vendor work and internal processing to ensure accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures. Collaborates with offshore vendor partners to maintain production and quality standards and supports them in reviewing and resolving issues logged in the offshore quality tracker.
- Maintaining Procedures Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), templates, and reference materials to reflect changes in programs, guidelines, or system functionality.
- Special projects as assigned Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, including efforts related to various and complex policy and premium adjustments, to support process improvement and operational efficiency.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of business experience, preferably in the insurance industryPrior Insurance industry work experience preferred
- Excellent reading comprehension and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and customer service focus
- Demonstrated use of sound judgment skills with solid decision-making abilities
- Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work
- Strong Independent problem-solving skills and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
- Basic Math Skills, including accurate computation and reconciliation Preferred experience:
- Property and Casualty license preferred
- Required to obtain the L&H license within 6 months of hire date
Education:
- High School
- Some college or relevant work experience preferred For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction record in accordance with local Fair Chance ordinances.
Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $52,000 to $58,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
