This position combines customer service, order processing, shipping support, inventory management, and problem-solving and is primarily desk-based.

Location:

On-site in Tuscaloosa, AL — this is not a remote/work-from-home position

Hours:

Approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through

Thursday Schedule:

Some flexibility between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Starting Pay Range:

$17.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience With daytime weekday hours and no evening or weekend shifts, this schedule can be a great fit for a parent or caregiver with school-age children. What You'll Do

• Handle customer service inquiries primarily through email
• Help customers with order questions, shipping issues, returns, and other concerns
• Troubleshoot and resolve order problems, including contacting customers when an item is unavailable
• Process replacement shipments for damaged or defective products covered by our six-month warranty
• Process daily online orders and prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and warehouse pick lists
• Assist with processing and preparing wholesale orders for shipment
• Assist with inventory management, including updating inventory counts as new product shipments are received
• Maintain accurate order and customer information
• Work with other team members to resolve customer, inventory, and shipping issues
• Assist with other day-to-day e-commerce operations as needed What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree is not required
• Basic computer proficiency required, including comfort navigating Windows-based programs, email, and web-based applications
• Previous customer service experience required
• Strong written communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach to customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Ability and willingness to learn new software and online systems
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word preferred
• Familiarity with ShipStation or similar shipping software is a plus, but not required Schedule
