Schedule and pre-register patients, transcribe physician orders, verify insurance benefits and authorizations, enter ICD-10 codes, and calculate patient financial liability.

Key Responsibilities:

Interview patients and provider offices to collect demographic data and schedule procedures. Transcribe verbal physician orders and enter accurate ICD-10 codes for billing. Verify insurance coverage, medical necessity, and secure required authorizations. Educate patients on financial responsibilities and collect upfront copays and deductibles.

Requirements:

Associate's degree with 1+ year of healthcare scheduling experience OR High School Diploma with 3+ years of healthcare scheduling/billing experience. Experience in insurance verification, ICD-10 coding, or prior authorizations. Must pass medical terminology and analytical skills assessments.
