Duties:
The Contractor Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit. Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc. Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups. Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications. Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.Schedule Notes:
This will be hybrid, M/T/TH onsite. In addition to Saginaw, open to candidates who would report to the Grand Rapids, Jackson, or Lansing Service Centres as well.Skills:
Ability to work effectively in urgent situations. Effective communication skills. Critical Thinking. Skilled in organization and time management. MS Office experience, ExcelEducation:
Production schedulers typically need at least an associate's degree in management or a relevant field; a bachelor's degree may be preferred.
