Job Description

AED is seeking a Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules for capital projects ranging from $10K-$2M. The ideal candidate has experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, a strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Create detailed activity dictionaries, logic, durations, constraints, and resource/craft loading; integrate subcontractor schedules and vendor milestones. Prepare baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules; produce weekly and monthly schedule updates and progress curves. Perform schedule risk analysis, critical path identification, float management, and scenario planning to support mitigation strategies. Coordinate schedule inputs from engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure accurate sequencing and access windows (including cleanroom restrictions). Generate schedule reports and visualizations (S-curves, Gantt charts, milestone reports, percent complete summaries) for project leadership and stakeholders. Monitor schedule performance metrics and recommend corrective actions; support change-order schedule impacts. Support resource leveling and craft productivity inputs, including adjustments for cleanroom work and restricted access. Maintain schedule integrity by establishing and enforcing scheduling best practices, coding structure, WBS alignment, and version control. Facilitate schedule review meetings, pull planning, and coordination sessions; document action items and follow up on schedule recovery activities. Archive as-built schedules and maintain historical schedule database for lessons learned and estimate validation. Support claims, delay analysis, and AACE/industry-standard schedule methodologies as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience creating project schedules. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and project controls. Ability to coordinate inputs from engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary:
