Job Description

Operations & Equipment Support Specialist — Part-Time $23-$25/hour | Approximately 31 hours/week | Monday-Friday | Charleston/Lowcountry
WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU
IF... You're dependable, mechanically inclined, and like trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and staying busy. This is not a desk job and not just a labor job. You'll help keep several growing local businesses running smoothly. You'll pick up parts, deliver equipment, tow trailers, help with restroom trailer rentals, maintain the shop and yard, and jump in wherever you're needed. If you're the person who sees something that needs to be done and takes care of it without waiting to be told — this could be a great fit.
THE SCHEDULE
Approximately 31 hours per week:
Monday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM-1:00
PM Wednesday:
8:00 AM-1:00
PM Thursday:
8:00 AM-1:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pick up and deliver plumbing parts and materials. Keep parts, trucks, tools, and equipment organized. Drive company trucks and tow trailers . Deliver, set up, clean, and maintain restroom trailers. Assist with pumping and servicing restroom trailers when needed. Help the junk removal team when an extra hand is needed. Keep the shop, warehouse, and yard clean and organized. Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Identify problems and take care of them before they become bigger issues. Handle the variety of hands-on tasks needed to keep our operation moving.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Dependable and responsible Mechanically inclined Comfortable driving trucks and pulling trailers A good problem solver Self-motivated and able to work independently Organized and takes pride in keeping things clean Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Professional and courteous with customers and employees Physically capable of light-to-moderate physical work Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license Clean driving record Able to safely tow and maneuver trailers Reliable transportation Comfortable working around trucks, tools, plumbing equipment, trailers, and junk removal equipment Plumbing, mechanical, construction, equipment, delivery, landscaping, or trailer experience is a plus.
