Home Health Schedulers are responsible for assignment of all patient visits to the appropriate field staff. The Home Health Scheduler serves as a leader of customer service for all lines of business within the Agency. Home Health Scheduler:
Arranges and schedules the referrals for appropriate Home Health staff based on Clinical Manager review and guidance. Contact patient/caregiver Assign all ordered disciplines and task all assigned clinicians in EMR Enter SOC service code and Evaluation service code on clinician's schedules in EMR Assign and schedule all discipline referral request accurately and timely based on geographic area. Adherence to the Home Health Coordinator process for all Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay referrals. Coordinates the implementation of consistent customer service standards. What You'll Need High school degree required, college degree preferred, or equivalent years of training or work experience. Minimum of one-year health care/business experience in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
