$24-$30 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications We are a growing non-medical home care agency seeking a dependable, organized, and people-oriented Home Care Staffing & Operations Coordinator to help manage our caregiver workforce and day-to-day office operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working with people, solving problems, managing schedules, recruiting caregivers, and keeping staff operations running smoothly. An LPN or RN license is strongly preferred , but we will also consider candidates with strong home-care staffing, recruiting, scheduling, HR, or office management experience. Key Responsibilities Caregiver & Staff Management Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers and staff members. Build positive relationships with caregivers and help maintain strong staff morale and retention. Respond to employee questions, concerns, and day-to-day issues. Address attendance, communication, performance, and workplace concerns professionally. Help resolve employee conflicts and problems before they escalate. Follow up with staff and make sure issues are actually resolved. Scheduling & Attendance Manage caregiver schedules and help ensure all client shifts are properly staffed. Handle call-outs, open shifts, schedule changes, and last-minute staffing needs. Monitor caregiver clock-ins, clock-outs, missed punches, and timekeeping issues. Review and correct time punches and communicate with caregivers when additional information is needed. Help ensure accurate timesheets and attendance records. Home Care Operations Maintain accurate employee and caregiver records. Help ensure required employee documentation and training records are current. Assist with caregiver onboarding and ongoing training coordination. Communicate agency policies and procedures to staff. Help identify staffing problems before they become emergencies. Work closely with ownership/management on staffing and employee-related matters. Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information. Nursing Background — Preferred An LPN or RN background is highly desirable because it provides an additional level of healthcare knowledge and allows the coordinator to better understand caregiver/client situations.A nursing background may include:
Understanding common client care needs. Communicating effectively with caregivers regarding client-related concerns. Recognizing when an issue may require escalation to the appropriate person. Assisting with caregiver education and training, when appropriate and within the individual's scope and agency requirements. Serving as a knowledgeable healthcare resource for the office and caregiver team. This is primarily a staffing, operations, and caregiver-management position—not a traditional bedside nursing position. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Excellent with people and communication. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable dealing with employee problems and difficult conversations. Proactive and able to solve problems independently. Dependable and responsive. Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and mobile applications. Experienced with recruiting and interviewing. Comfortable working in a fast-paced home-care environment. Professional, patient, and compassionate. Able to hold employees accountable while maintaining positive relationships. Able to work independently without needing constant direction. Preferred Qualifications LPN or RN license — strongly preferred Previous home care, home health, healthcare, staffing, HR, or office management experience. Experience managing caregivers or other healthcare staff. Experience with scheduling and timekeeping/EVV systems. Recruiting and interviewing experience. Strong computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pay:
$24-$30/hour based on experience, with additional consideration for an experienced LPN/RN or candidate with significant home-care management experience.Pay:
