Job Description
️ Nurse Staffing Coordinator, CNA Facility location: White Oak Estates 400 Webber Road Spartanburg, SC 29307 We are an 88 9-bed skilled care and rehabilitation facility who provides person-centered care to each of our residents. Join a dedicated team committed to providing quality resident care while supporting a positive and collaborative work environment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented CNA who enjoys coordinating schedules, solving staffing challenges, and supporting nursing operations. The Staffing Coordinator/CNA is responsible for developing and maintaining nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels that meet resident needs as well as state and company requirements. This role also provides direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant when needed and supports nursing department administrative functions. What You'll Do Coordinate and maintain daily nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for resident care. Proactively fill open shifts by contacting staff and managing call-outs, absences, and schedule changes. Prepare and distribute daily staffing assignments for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Track attendance, PTO, vacation requests, and staffing variances to support payroll accuracy. Maintain accurate staffing records and employee contact information. Assist with nursing department administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and communications. Support hiring activities by verifying CNA certifications, nursing licenses, and employment references. Utilize staffing and clinical software systems to manage schedules and staffing data. Serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant as needed to ensure resident care needs are met. Collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain staffing levels that align with regulatory and facility standards. What We Need Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) High school diploma or equivalent. One year of healthcare or staffing experience preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to payroll and scheduling accuracy. Knowledge of confidentiality requirements and HIPAA compliance. A positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent support for residents and staff.
