Job Description
Accounting & Operations Specialist A growing company in the Nashville area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Operations Specialist to support accounting, order management, customer operations, and administrative processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and cross-functional processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and expense tracking. Create and maintain purchase orders, customer records, vendor information, and accounting transactions in QuickBooks. Process customer orders, monitor fulfillment, track shipments, and ensure accurate invoicing. Research and resolve discrepancies involving orders, shipments, invoices, and payments. Support operational activities including inventory updates, shipping coordination, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with reporting and compliance-related administrative tasks. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounting operations, AP/AR, order management, or a related role. Strong experience with QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Solid understanding of transactional accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, and purchase orders. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify solutions. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
