Job Summary We are seeking an Air Operations Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in the Grapevine/Dallas, TX area. This role supports daily air freight import and export operations, including shipment coordination, documentation, customer communication, carrier follow-up, and regulatory compliance. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career logistics professional who wants to grow within air freight forwarding and international transportation. The role offers hands-on exposure to air cargo operations, customs documentation, TSA/IATA compliance, carrier coordination, and customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment. • Process import and export air freight shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs-related documents.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, overseas agents, and customers to track shipments and resolve routine issues.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding shipment status, delays, delivery updates, and exceptions.
• Enter and update shipment data accurately in the transportation management system and internal operating platforms.
• Support compliance with TSA, IATA, customs, and company recordkeeping requirements. Compensation and Benefits
